Koillis-Savon kansalaisopisto / Community College of North-Eastern Savonia

The Community College of North-Eastern Savonia (in Finnish Koillis–Savo is a region of the province Eastern Finland) will start working the 1.8.2010. This new college is a kind of region educational institution which consists of four former community colleges of the neighboring municipalities: Juankoski, Kaavi, Nilsiä and Rautavaara. Nilsiä town keeps up the new community college, which administration is in Nilsiä as well. The offices of the new Community College are open in the municipalities of its functional area and they serve the clients of the college there. The Community College of North-Eastern Savonia is open for every inhabitant of the college’s functional area to study in it. In general you can study in the college from 7 years old upward. The teaching in the college goes according to the wishes of its students, so it can be stressed just on the interest as a hobby or on the reaching for some aim or some level of a subject you studying. We also organize some examinations in a cooperate. For the immigrants we organize the Finnish language training according to the demand. Гражданская Академия Северо – Восточного Саво (по-фински Koillis-Savo – часть провинции Восточная Финляндия) начнёт свою деятельность 1.08.2010г. Данная Гражданская Академия является районным образовательным учреждением, в котором объединились бывшие Гражданские Академии Йуанкоски, Каави, Нильсии и Раутаваара. Гражданская Академия Северо – Восточного Саво содержится на средства  города Нильсия, управленческая администрация Академии также находится в Нильсии. В остальных трёх населённых пунктах открыты секретарские отделы по обслуживанию клиентов Академии. В Гражданской Академии могут учиться все желающие любого возраста, начиная с 7 лет. Преподавание осуществляется либо в свободной форме как увлечение, хобби, либо с упором на достижение определённого уровня знаний в том или ином предмете, в зависимости от потребностей студентов. В качестве совместной работы с другими образовательными учреждениями в Академии иногда проводятся экзамены и тестирования. В соответствии со спросом в Академии проводятся курсы финского языка для иностранцев. Осенью 2010г. отделы Нильсии и Йуанкоски проведут информационный вечер для иммигрантов с целью определить их потребность в изучении финского языка.
